Horseback Riding among the Hazelnut Groves and Woods of Roero
A perfect opportunity to indulge in a moment of escape from daily routine: a horseback ride among the hazelnut groves and woods at the gateway to the Roero, on the suggestive hill between Bra and Pocapaglia.
The experience is open to both beginners and more experienced riders. Participants will be accompanied by a qualified equestrian guide along selected routes based on their level of experience, through country lanes offering unique glimpses into one of the most fascinating territories in the province of Cuneo.
What you will do
The meeting point is set at the stables in località Castelletto in Bra. The activity follows a structured program to ensure safety and fun:
Preparation and Briefing: Before departing, the guide will provide a protective helmet and hold a briefing of about 15 minutes. During this introduction, the basics for interacting correctly with the animal and giving the main commands will be explained, ensuring that every participant feels at ease in the saddle.
The Excursion: Once ready, you will immerse yourself in the tranquility of the hill:
For beginners: A circular loop of about 1 hour (3.5 km) is planned. The track is mainly flat, ideal for those who want to enjoy the landscape among hazelnut groves and woods in total relaxation.
For experts: Upon request, 1 or 2-hour walks are available. In these circuits (from 6 km or more), riders can try different gaits, alternating the walk with the trot and the gallop.
At the end of the walk, the group will return to the stables.
