The Green Guesthouse project was born at the end of 2012 with the goal of creating an eco-friendly facility capable of offering its guests a simple service, attentive to everyone's needs, and above all, respectful of the environment.
Our goal is to involve our guests in the responsible management of natural resources—which are by no means inexhaustible—and to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions, doing our part to combat the greenhouse effect.
For this reason, we installed a photovoltaic system on our roof. This not only allows us to produce all the energy needed to run our electronic equipment, air conditioning, and water heating year-round, but also to feed the surplus back into the grid for others to use.
We have chosen all-electric systems, prioritizing efficiency and performance over cost, to further reduce consumption without compromising on comfort. We use low-energy or LED lighting and collect rainwater from the roof in two large tanks to irrigate the garden during dry periods. Temperatures are managed automatically and constantly monitored to ensure maximum comfort with minimum resource consumption.
Managing things sustainably often doesn't mean giving something up—quite the opposite! We strive to offer our guests everything they need for a relaxing, pleasant, and hopefully memorable stay. We select our suppliers based not only on product quality but also on their environmental policies.
